Road to the Nile at Christmas Holidays (21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th Dec 2024)

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport our representative will meet and assist you with the arrival procedures. 

Next, you will be transferred by private car to your hotel. Spare some minutes to confirm the pickup times of your tour with our representative. 

Enjoy a Welcome Drink on us and take the rest of the day at leisure or to relax from the trip.

After breakfast you will visit the Pyramids of Giza, where you will be face to face with the only remaining of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, and the mysterious Great Sphinx. 

Stop for lunch. Time to visit the Egyptian Museum, a fantastic place that holds largest collection of artefacts of Ancient Egypt. 

Finally, explore Khan EL Khalili, some of the oldest parts of the city and one of the oldest bazaars in the region. It is the right place to buy souvenirs but get ready to bargain.

Hotel check out. You will be transferred to the airport where will take a short flight to Luxor, where upon arrival a new representative will conduce you on board your Nile cruise. 

You will visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Karnak is the largest ancient temple that still exists and Luxor Temple is dedicated to god Amun. 

Return to the cruise.

On this day you will explore some of the main attractions of West Bank, starting with the Valley of the Kings, resting place of several pharaohs of the New Kingdom. 

On the other side of the valley, visit the unique Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Finally, a quick stop by the still impressive Colossi of Memnon, the twin statues of King Amenhotep III.

The ship will keep its course and sail towards Kom Ombo, where you will visit the temple that is dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus, respectively the crocodile-headed and the falcon-headed gods. This is the only ancient temple in Egypt dedicated to two gods at the same time. 

Return to the ship and time to sail to Edfu to visit the Temple of Edfu, also known as Temple of Horus. 

Enjoy entertainment activities in the evening while the cruise continues towards Aswan.

Start your day by visiting the High Dam and the beautiful Lake Nasser. 

Next, explore the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and finally the Unfinished Obelisk before returning to the cruise. 

Enjoy an evening of entertainment on board.

Followed breakfast you will disembark and be taken to the airport to fly back to Cairo.
