Welcome to the land of the Pharaohs for the 10 Days of Egypt & Jordan tour package! Our representative will meet you at Cairo International Airport and assist you. Once transferred to your hotel in a private vehicle, we will help you with the check-in and the tour representative will explain your itinerary. Use your free time to rest from the trip and enjoy a free 'Welcome Drink'. Optionally, you can join the Light & Sound Show at the Pyramids in the evening.
On day 2 of the 10 Days Taste of Egypt & Jordan tour package, enjoy the breakfast at the hotel and wait for your tour guide. You will go to the Giza Plateau, where will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza; these amazing 5 thousand years old monuments are one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Take the opportunity to try deciphering the mysterious Sphinx, and visit the Temple Valley. After lunch, you will spend the afternoon at the Egyptian Museum, the house of antiquities. It holds the largest collection in the world dedicated to Ancient Egypt, as an exclusive room for the treasures of King Tutankhamun and a Royal Mummy Room (an extra ticket is required for the latest). On day 3 of the 10 Days Taste of Egypt & Jordan adventure, you will be transferred by plane to Aswan after breakfast. One of our representatives will take you to Cairo International Airport and another will meet you upon your arrival in Aswan and escort you to your Nile cruise. After lunch, you will visit Aswan's High Dam, built in the 60s to provide more electricity to Egypt. Next, let's go to the Nubian Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor, followed by the Unfinished Obelisk. This obelisk was meant to be the tallest in Ancient Egypt, but a crack on it interrupted the works. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Return to the ship.
The ship will sail to Kom Ombo After breakfast on the 3rd day of the 10 Days Taste of Egypt & Jordan package. You will visit the Kom Ombo Temples, identical structures built to worship the gods Horus and Sobek. After lunch, the cruise sails towards Edfu, where you will visit the Temple of Horus, which is the best preserved of all Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Enjoying your 10 Days Taste of Egypt & Jordan? The first stop of this day will be to visit the Valley of the Kings, where dozens of tombs were discovered, including the famous tombs of King Tutankhamun and Ramses VI. Next, it is time to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which has an original style compared to the others, ordered by the female pharaoh. Then, let's visit the Colossi of Memnon, statues of king Amenhotep III. Continue the sightseeing by visiting the Temple of Karnak, the largest existing one amongst ancient religious temples; in the complex, you will find many temples, including the famous Hypostyle Hall. Next, visit the beautiful Luxor Temple, once the place for rituals and festivals dedicated to the god Amun. Optional evening tours to enjoy the Light & Sound Show at the temple are also available. Return to the ship. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
This must be one of the highlights of the 10 Days Taste of Egypt & Jordan. After breakfast, we will hit the road once more and enjoy the day in Petra, the city carved in rocks in the 6th BC. You will walk or horse ride the Canyon, followed by visiting monuments such as the Treasury, the Street of Facades, the Pharaoh's Castle, and the Royal Tombs. After, we will drive back to your hotel in Amman. Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch
Mosques and all other places of worship occupied a high and greatly respected place in the hearts of most Egyptians There aren’t really special clothes to be put on while visiting a mosque in Egypt; however, conservative attire would be highly recommended. In some mosques, women will be asked to cover their hair and perhaps their arms and legs. Both women and men will be asked to remove their shoes before entering a mosque.
Usually, the check-in time is at 11:00 AM after breakfast and before Lunch. As most Flights arrive much earlier, Immediate access to your cabin will be provided if available. If the option is unavailable, however, you will kindly be asked to wait until check-in time. A good way to kill time and make the most of the previous situation is to start your tours early in your trip.
Normally, Nile Cruise Check out Time is at 8:00 or 9:00 AM right after Breakfast. However, if your Flight or Train is running late, all the cruise facilities are under your beck & call, except the Cabin and the Restaurant. Moreover, you can safely keep your luggage onboard your designated Cruise and explore the city until your flight/train departure time.
The two standard meal plan variations for a Nile Cruise is All-inclusive & Full Board with the Latter being the most common. Full Board options include all meals in either a Set menu of Buffet form, served at a fixed time with the meals & food with quality and variety differing depending on the quality of the cruise itself. Items that are not included in the meal plan are beverages except for the breakfast tea, coffee, juice, afternoon tea are all complimentary & free of charge. As for the Second meal plan criteria, The all-inclusive meal plan that includes all types of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks
For The Nile Cruise Crew: Usually, there are around 50 to 70 employees onboard the cruise ship and all contribute to make your trip a wonderful journey. Considering this fact, it's advisable to Equally distribute the tip amongst the crew. Although there's a strict rule against tipping during the trip a great way to do it is to leave an envelope at the cruise reception with the total amount which they will divide equally amongst the crew members. In conclusion, tipping is an act of courtesy and not obligatory by any means.
